As the EACC Texas celebrates its 5th Anniversary year, we look forward to thanking our members and those who have been instrumental in growing our organization with the launch of a new series celebrating the accomplishments of European Leaders in Texas. Their stories and accomplishments have led the way as Europe remains Texas' most important partner in trade.  

This meeting will also serve as the Annual General Meeting of the EACC Texas and the launch of our "Europeans in Texas Leadership" series. Our opening speaker is fantastic! Giovanni Abruzzini, CEO of Virbac USA shares his "Culture of Leadership" insights and anecdotes on leading US teams in a multinational corporation in a time of global uncertainty.

Giovanni Abruzzini - President and CEO, North America Region 

Gio is President and CEO, North America Region, and member of the Global Executive Committee for Virbac S.A. His primary mission is to lead and develop all North American Virbac activities in line with the Group’s global strategy, with a focus on durable development and profitable growth. He aims to gain market share and visibility in the North American market through increased penetration in companion animals (including pet food) and livestock health, while also improving overall product margin and St. Louis site profitability. 

Gio holds a Superior degree in Business and Economics from the University of Rome. His career spans over 26 years at Johnson & Johnson, where he held positions such as vice president of Johnson & Johnson Med Tech (since 2019), regional head Northern Europe, general manager UK, Ireland, and Nordics, Global Sr. Franchise director, and Marketing director Italy. He is credited with creating a model for excellence in commercial execution. He began his career in 1997 as a product manager in J&J Consumer Italy, later taking on increasing local and regional responsibilities for skincare and personal care brands before joining J&J Vision Care. His career has taken him to Italy, France, Sweden, England, and the United States.
